day 110
It wasn't until a couple of years ago that I realized that we live within a mile from where the first American flag was flown on Prospect Hill. The very spot that on January 1, 1776 George Washington ordered that a new flag be raised on a 76-foot schooner mast and placed on top of the hill. And what a hill it is, just walking up it is a workout, let alone pushing two kids up it in a stroller. About halfway up they gave up on me and just hopped out and walked.
We did make it to the top, but what happened to you propect hill monument? You're falling apart and smelled of old? fresh? really bad urine, you even scared my son so much that after 90 secs he was crying to leave. I'm sorry to see you in such bad shape, good thing there was a park down the street otherwise coming to see you would have been a bust.
