I know I'm a sap, but the only way I can survive Rich being gone is to stay up all night reading, I'm almost through my second novel which by the way neither are Newbery Medal books (I'm so behind on my new years resolution), and then when daylight breaks I have to just get out of the house. So Jonas and I decided to go pretty far today and take the commuter rail out to Drumlin Farms in Lincoln. It's a farm/wildlife sanctuary, and it's beautiful.
Right after taking this picture, I read the back of the farm map which states " Tick Season! Avoid tall grass - know the symptoms of Lyme disease." Fingers crossed Jonas doesn't wake up with a bulls-eye rash tomorrow...
This is us on the hay ride.
This is us crying about not getting to go on the hayride again.
And no farm trip is complete without sitting and looking at a John Deere tractor for 10mins.
