April 6th is an important date for us mormon folks, not only is it the anniversary of the restoration of the church, but according to D&C 20:1 some would say that it's Jesus's birthday also.
I guess you could say that we look for any opportunity to celebrate Jesus, and this was a good chance to involve Him in our resolution.
looking at that cake makes my mouth water...
