day 95 and then some

day 95 - chubby hubby

I'm starting to think that each week should include a new ice cream flavor.

day 94 - quail eggs/Jonas' 1st real EasterWe had the best Easter ever thanks to our amazing friends.

day 93 - matzos bark -If I would have known what matzos tasted like I don't think I would have bought the two big boxes that I did.

day 92 - anadama bread

A traditional new england bread, quite tasty.

day 91 -mayer lemons

A combination between a tangerine and a lemon. I thought that meant it would be nice to eat all by itself, so we peeled it like an orange. It was soooo sour, I couldn't detect a hint of sweetness. We ate it, because we didn't know what else to do, but I don't recommend this approach.

day 90 -greek yogurt

I made a honey-lime fry dip out of it. Not too bad.

day 89 - alphonso mango

Delicious.

day 88 - Funky french grilled cheese

It's tough as a tourist to know what places to stay away from, this was so bad, I had to throw it away.

day 87 - not sure

You know the routine, your stomach growls during Sunday school and then by the third hour your pretty sure your body is digesting itself. So as soon as church let out we bee lined it to the first food establishment we saw, which happened to be LeGay Choc. These guys seemed to sense our touristeeness and gave us some stuff we didn't order. Either way we loved it. Their specialty seems to be la baguette magique.

day 86 - Jonas' 1st chocolate croissantlThis is Jonas is a chocolate coma.

We spent the day mostly eating and then we would eat some more, and then maybe go see some sights.

day 85 - quiche au gesier

We got this at one of the many boulangerie's that we had stopped at that day, Rich pointed to the quiche and asked for it in french not knowing what it was. The lady asked are you sure? Rich said "ouais", and then we hurried to our hotel room to search gesier. Rich claims it's the best thing he's ever eaten, but I don't seem to have a stomach for gizzard it turns out.

day 84 - George and Danver's golden secret

A local ice cream place in oxford. Still not sure what was in golden secret but I'm going with kit kat.

day 83 - steak chips and Jonas' 1st parsnips in a pouch

Feeding a kid healthy is hard when you travel, but thanks to this great find I didn't feel so bad when we let Jonas eat all the chocolate croissants his little heart desired.

Steak Chips, bit too much like dry beef ramen noodles.
