Day 61

Enjoy your rare moment alone Mr. John Harvard.

Day 60

Today we got in an elevator, went down a floor, bought some socks, got back in the elevator, went up half a floor and stopped. Approximately 12 minutes later we were rescued by a man named Mac Daddy, and then we're back on our way to the Children's Museum.

Day 59
Five years of walking through Harvard Yard and I finally went inside Memorial Church. No Photography Please. It was a lecture by Helen Whitney the filmmaker who produced the PBS documentary on Mormons. Why haven't I seen this documentary? Why haven't I read everything by Margret Toscano? And does God really enjoy dancing? It was very enjoyable. It made me feel invigorated hearing new ideas and sitting next to intelligent people. It made me feel that as long as I didn't say anything, maybe I could be mistaken for one of them.

Day 58

This was a true doctor's appointment miracle. My longest doctor's visit and Rich had a meeting. I was imaging Jonas in all of his afternoon crankiness accompanying me to the bathroom for the urine test, sitting by himself while I'm laid up on the exam table, and then waiting again while I got a bunch of blood work done. But the kid that doesn't take naps surprised me, and slept through the whole thing. The elevator ding on the way out woke him up. We stopped for milk and cookies on the way home to show our gratitude.

Day 57

This makes me wonder what else is in our basement, that should have been thrown away years ago, that will become our child's new go to.

Day 56

Spring is that you?

Day 55

Day 54

Two years ago I won a cake at a charity auction for Haiti, which I then forgot about. I'm glad others don't have a memory like mine. This pleasantly showed up at our door Thursday night, it was the best two-year old cake I've ever eaten.

Day 53

This is Jonas sitting neckked on our bed with about four tubes of chap stick, applying and reapplying. The things I find my son doing.

  1. Loved pictures from Days #55, 56, & 58. Very fun! 56 was very beautiful - good eye, Leslie! Loved the stories behind #54, 58 and the one of Rich carrying the chair up your stairs! Keep those pictures coming!
