a new year

So for some reason I really like new year's resolutions, I'm not sure why seeing as I'm not very good at following through with them. Last year for example, I tried to read all the newbery medal books, 89 in total, I just counted and I only made it through 58. I blame this partly on being pregnant and unmotivated to do anything besides eat bean burritos, but also some of them are long and boring, I'm convinced the two being related.
This year isn't looking any better seeing as I've already let a day slip past, but I thought it would be fun to take a picture every single day this year. Partly to document life, partly to enhance my "making a picture" skills, but mostly because it seems doable. Here goes...
