It was fun to head off to New Mexico for a week, one so Rich and Jonas could finally meet my grandparents and two it was nice to get to be apart of Becca and Todd's sealing. Rich and I both cried through our own and now we've cried through theirs so if anyone wants/needs two twenty-somethings crying at their marriage be sure and send us an invite. It was a great trip though, lots of cup cakes, watched a few softball games, lived in the hotel pool, peed on myself while jumping on the trampoline, and Jonas still refers to motel 6 as our second home.

It turns out that ancient rock etchings, 100 degree weather, and the threat of rattlesnakes makes for only about 10 minutes of fun.
first slurpee ever
Our buddy Peter's birthday just happens to be on 7/11 so we all went and got FREE slurpees in his honor. Jonas was a huge fan.
Uncle Trey
Trey was actually up in Rhode Island for the week so we got to see him a couple of times, which beats our once a year hope we're in Texas at the same time as you visit. Too bad it wasn't the whole family but we had a good time. Jonas even saw fit to use profanity for the first time while we were out getting pizza together. Nothing like your two year old yelling "Holy Crap!" in a restaurant, but holy crap pinocchio's pizza is good.
