Halva is a tahini based sweet confection common to the middle east and the balkans and oh so good!
It does have an interesting space food texture, but taste somewhat in the vein of peanut butter and when combined with Saleb it makes for the perfect just before bed snack.
I wish this picture could show you just how beautiful it was, but it does no justice.
