deep fried twinkies

Well it looks like our Fry Daddy is the new default plan. I'm trying to convince Rich that this just might kill us, but he assures me that casual every day frying is harmless. I guess I should listen to him, after all he does go to the big H down the road.

After doing a little research on the internet we learned the official way to fry a twinkie is to first freeze it, and then make a funnel-cake-like batter, coat, and fry. But that all sounded like a little to much work. Isn't that the whole purpose of the deep fryer... you plug it in, throw the food in, and it's done. No work, no hassle, and no dishes.

So we skipped the batter part and I think we're better people for it. We both agreed that deep fried twinkies taste way better than regular ol' twinkies.
